This policy explains how Amigos River Cruising handles personal information collected through this website. It applies to enquiries, bookings and general correspondence.

What the enquiry form collects

When you send an enquiry we ask for your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address, all of which are required so that we can reply. The form also accepts optional details: your company or organisation, the type of event, a preferred date, an approximate guest count, an indicative budget, a preferred vessel and a free-text description of what you have in mind. We record the page you sent the enquiry from so we know what you were looking at.

Why we collect it

Solely to prepare and discuss a proposal. Contact details are used to reply by phone, WhatsApp or email. Event details are used to work out which vessel suits your guest count and to price catering, decor and entertainment. If you go on to book, the same details are used to issue your confirmation and invoice and to brief the crew for your sailing.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not pass your details to third parties for their own marketing. Information is shared only where it is necessary to deliver your event — for example with a caterer, decorator or photographer engaged for your sailing — and only the detail they need to do their part.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for pages to load and forms to work. If website analytics are enabled, they are used in aggregate to understand which pages are visited and how people move through the site — not to build a profile of you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some preferences may not be remembered.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of the conversation resuming, and then deleted. Booking records are kept for as long as we are required to retain accounting and tax records under Indian law.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to sales@amigosrivercruising.com from the email address you used, or call +91 89600 70105. We will confirm the request and act on it within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain a record.

Security

Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and access is limited to the people in our team who handle bookings. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not ask for card numbers, bank credentials or identity documents through this website.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be reflected here rather than notified individually.
