Work on the water
Who we hire
Four kinds of people keep the fleet sailing
We recruit steadily rather than in campaigns, and most of the team came in through a conversation rather than an advertisement.
Marine crew
Skippers, deckhands and engine-room staff for the cruise fleet and the yachts. Certification and river or coastal experience matter more than a polished CV.
Hospitality staff
Service, bar and kitchen roles across three vessels. Evening and weekend work is the norm — most sailings run at sunset.
Event managers
One manager owns an event from brief to gangway. The job is decor, catering, AV, entertainment and timing, on a venue that leaves the jetty on schedule.
Sales and partnerships
Corporate, wedding-planner, DMC and travel-agent accounts. Quoting, proposals and repeat relationships rather than cold volume.
How to apply
No open listings — write to us anyway
We do not keep a list of open roles on this page, because vacancies open and close with the season and we would rather not leave a stale advertisement online. What we do keep is a file of people we would like to work with.
Send your CV to sales@amigosrivercruising.com with a short note: which of the four areas above fits you, what you have done, and when you are free to start. Certificates and references are useful for crew roles.
We read everything and reply to applications we can act on. If nothing is open now, we will keep your details for the next season.
Let's create something extraordinary.
Tell us the date, the guest count and the occasion. We'll come back with a vessel, a plan and a price.
